Pain Reprocessing Therapy

Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) is a cutting-edge, evidence-based approach that helps retrain the brain to interpret pain signals more accurately—often leading to significant relief or complete resolution of chronic symptoms. PRT has been shown to be highly effective for conditions like back pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, fatigue, dizziness, IBS, joint and limb pain, or any pain that has lasted more than three months, even after an injury has healed.

PRT works by helping individuals understand the role of the brain in chronic pain, identify and reframe fear-based thought patterns, and shift their relationship to pain through education, somatic practices, and emotional processing. By building safety in the nervous system and reinforcing new, healthier neural pathways, the brain can unlearn pain and restore a sense of ease in the body

Trauma Treatment

EMDR

EMDR is a powerful therapy that helps your nervous system heal from trauma and other overwhelming life experiences. Originally developed to treat PTSD, it’s now used successfully for anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and more. EMDR works by helping your brain process what it couldn’t fully deal with at the time—so you can feel more present, grounded, and free.

At the heart of EMDR is the idea that we’re all wired to heal. But when we go through something too intense or too prolonged, our nervous system can get overwhelmed, and the experience gets "stuck"—showing up as emotional triggers, body tension, or patterns that don’t make sense in the present. EMDR gently helps you “unstick” those memories, so you can reconnect with your inner strength, shift old beliefs, and move forward with more ease.

LIFe Transitions

Individual Therapy

Throughout our lives we have seasons of deep transition, where it can feel like the rug has been pulled out from underneath. When profound change takes place, so too does opportunity to release what is no longer serving you and move towards greater alignment and authentiticty. Maybe it’s a job that no longer fits, a relationship, or maybe its a dream becoming actualized. Whatever your journey, I am passionate about working with those to follow their inner knowing.

Embodied Healing

Embodiment is an invitation back to yourself that celebrates wholeness.

guiding principals to establish

Embodied Healing

Curiosity

Therapy does not have to be dull. Inviting curiosity, playfulness and humor defuses our nervous systems’ need to be in a chronic threat response, allowing for deeper insight, action and fun.

Compassion

Adopting a stance of self compassion diffuses shame. This creates more ease in our bodies, greater self acceptance, and allows us to move with more grace in relation to ourselves and others.

Collaboration

Therapy is an opportunity for a collaborative, joint learning process that centers an individual’s lived experience and story. This fosters reciprocal learning, embodied presence and relational safety.

Choice

Centering choice in the therapeutic relationship is imperative for creating felt safety, agency and empowerment. Reconnecting to your own inner knowing allows for deeper alignment and integrity.
